AMGEN APPOINTS NEW MEDICAL MANAGER TO ITS NEPHROLOGY DIVISION
[30 January 2007, Cambridge, UK] – Amgen has appointed Azmina Khanbhai as its new Medical Affairs Manager for nephrology, for the UK and Ireland. Azmina, who joins from Abbott Laboratories, will take the lead on all medical aspects of the nephrology business, including key opinion leader liaison and project management.

Azmina brings to her role two years’ of experience in the nephrology sector which she gained as a Medical Manager at Abbott Laboratories in Spain. She qualified as a doctor from the University of Leicester Medical School in 1999 and practised at Birmingham City Hospital NHS Trust for four years, before bringing her experience to the pharmaceutical sector.
