Amgen is committed to compliance with the EFPIA Code on Disclosure of Transfers of Value from Pharmaceutical Companies to Healthcare Professionals and Healthcare Organizations. The EFPIA Code requires that Amgen publicly disclose information regarding transfers of value resulting from Amgen’s interactions with Healthcare Professionals.
If you are engaged in activities with Amgen that result in a transfer of value to you, Amgen will collect and process personal information about you in order to comply with the EFPIA Code. Such information may include, for example, your name, professional address and description of payments or other transfers of value made to you. The information will be publicly available for a period of 3 years after the date originally disclosed, unless a different period is legally required. Amgen may transfer this information to Amgen Inc. in the US, its affiliates and other trusted processors acting on its behalf. Processing may occur in countries outside of that in which you reside, including countries that may not require the same level of protection as that established in the European Economic Area. Regardless of the country in which it is collected and processed, Amgen maintains administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information about you.
